In the summer of 2018, I spent months researching engagement rings. Late nights, dozens of websites, teaching myself the difference between clarity grades and cut quality — because I was terrified of getting it wrong. I eventually found a jeweler who cut through all of it — sat with me, listened, and helped me design exactly the right ring. I proposed on a beach in Malibu. She said yes. And I never forgot how different that experience felt when someone who genuinely knew what they were doing was in your corner.
That jeweler is now my business partner. Together, we built Yoona.
